FIFA has launched a call for tenders for the centralised media rights for all matches in the second and third round (play-offs) of the Africa Zone qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on 18/11/2019. The deadline for bids is 16/12/2019 (15:00 CET).

In October 2018, the Confederation of African Football member associations decided that media rights for the 2022 World Cup qualifying matches would be marketed individually. FIFA reached an agreement with CAF's 54 associations to centralise the marketing of these rights in August 2019.

FIFA has been broadcasting certain matches from the first round of Africa's 2022 World Cup qualifiers on its website (FIFA.com) and via its YouTube channel since September 2019.
