Italy: Lega Serie A and Lega Serie B mobilise to support the city of Venice, damaged by flooding

The Lega Serie A and Lega Serie B have joined the The Protezione Civile's (Italian Civil Protection body) telephone fundraising campaign for the city of Venice, which has been damaged by flooding of exceptional magnitude, according to the Leagues of the Italian first and second divisions on 19/11/2019.

The bodies are promoting the support number "45 500", to which it is possible, in Italy, to pay €2, by sending a text message or making a call from a landline.

On Matchdays 13 and 14 of the 2019-20 Serie A TIM season (from 23 to 25/11/2019 and from 30/11 to 02/12/2019) and the Serie BKT (from 22 to 25/11/2019 and from 29/11 to 02/12/2019), fundraising for the city of Venice will be promoted in all stadiums through LED messages on advertising panels and on giant screens, as well as through a message read by stadium announcers.
