Brazil 2014: Nike to unveil the shirt of England

The US sporting good manufacturer Nike unveiled the shirt of the English national team for the 2014 World Cup, on 31/03/2014. Nike has been the kit supplier of England since 2013.

"Two references really stood out during the design process for the home kit. The shirt England wore during the 1970 World Cup in Mexico and the armour of English Knights," said Martin Lotti Nike Football’s global design director.

The home shirt will be worn for the first time during the friendly match against Peru on 30/05/2014 at Wembley Stadium in London.

• England will play in Group D at the 2014 World Cup.
  •  They will face Uruguay, Costa Rica and Italy.
• 10 out of 32 national teams at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will be supplied by the American sportswear company Nike, making it the best represented kit supplier of the competition (from 12/06 to 07/13/2014).
