Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) has posted a turnover of €106.6m (excluding capital gains on player transfers) in the financial year 2018-19 (from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019), a 44% increase compared to 2017-18 (€74m), announced the Spanish club on 16/11/2019.

This is a historic record for Real Betis, whose revenues totalled €140.2m in 2018-19, including player transfers and exceptional income. This increase in revenue is mainly due to the club's participation in the 2018-19 edition of the Europa League, which generated a significant increase in "competition revenue" from €3.4m to €19.9m. Real Betis posted a net profit of €6.1m (compared with €0.5m in 2017-18) in 2018-19.

The Seville club has also adopted a provisional budget of €92.1m for the 2019-20 season, down 13.6%, which will however, according to Betis, be partially offset by revenues from player transfers estimated at €44.4m. In total, the 2019-20 revenues projected by the Seville club should amount to €162m, resulting in a net profit of €9.3m.
