Ligue 1: Umbro to formalise partnership with FC Nantes until 2017-18

Umbro will become the official kit supplier of FC Nantes (Ligue 1) from the 2014-15 season, said the British brand on 31/03/2014. The four-year contract between the two parties will run until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The contract provides FC Nantes with an annual budget of €500,000. Umbro replaces the kit and equipment supplier, Errea, the Italian partner of the club since the 2011-12 season.

Umbro has been reconstructing its portfolio of clubs for the 2014-15 season. The brand had previously been gradually selling most of its rights after its acquisition by Nike in 2007. Nike sold Umbro to the U.S. company Iconix Brand Group in October 2012 for almost €170m. In France, the Umbro license is held by the Noël Soccer Group.

Umbro - RC Lens:
