Asics: Carsten Unbehaun succeeds Alistair Cameron as CEO of Asics EMEA on 20/11/2019

Carsten Unbehaun has been named president and CEO of Asics EMEA, according to the Japanese equipment manufacturer on 22/11/2019. Unbehaun took office on 20/11/2019 and succeeds Alistair Cameron as head of the brand.

"Since joining Asics EMEA in 2002, Carsten Unbehaun has held a number of senior management roles including managing director of Central Europe (2009-2017) and most recently as the CEO of Haglöfs (since January 2018). Unbehaun will remain as CEO of Haglöfs until his successor is found," explained Asics.

"From 01/01/2020, Masashi Abe will become executive vice-president at Asics EMEA. He started working in ASICS from 2001, and he moves from Asics Headquarters in Kobe, Japan, having held numerous roles. These include assignments to Europe for several years and most recently as the general manager of Asics' geography strategy division," added Asics.
