EFDN: Shakhtar Social wins More than Football Award 2019 at the 13^th EFDN Conference in Barcelona

Over 80 clubs attended the 13^th European Football for Development Network (EFDN) Conference held at the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity) in Barcelona (ESP) on 19/11/2019, where FC Shakhtar Donetsk's (Ukrainian Premier League) Foundation project - "Shakhtar Social - Come On, Let's Play!" - won the "More than Football Award 2019" for "the best CSR initiative in European football," announced the EDFN on 19 and 21/11/2019.

Four projects were shortlisted for the More than Football Award 2019, including projects by the Chelsea FC Foundation, Juventus FC, Rangers Charity Foundation (Rangers Football Club) and Shakhtar Social (FC Shakhtar Donetsk). The shortlisted applicants were "invited to make a 15-minute presentation of their project at the 13^th EFDN Conference in Barcelona on 19/11 or 20/11/2019", with EFDN conference attendees deciding the winning project.
