The Lega Serie A, in partnership with the NGO WeWorld Onlus, promoted the third edition of the #unrossoallaviolenza ("a red card to violence", in English) campaign, which aims to defend women's rights and fight violence against women, on Matchday 13 of the 2019-20 Serie A TIM, from 23 to 25/11/2019.

At all games during the matchday, players and referees stepped onto the pitch with a red mark - the symbol of the campaign - on their faces and the captains of each team wore special armbands in the campaign's colours. A video for the campaign was also shown on the screens in the Italian stadiums and banners were deployed.

"In addition, the social networking sites will support the campaign with the photos of the footballers and their girlfriends (and other testimonials) that will declare their commitment by posting a photo with the campaign symbol, urging their followers to do the same with the hashtag #unrossoallaviolenza," said the Lega Serie A on 22/11/2019.
