Hungary: Aleksander Ceferin (UEFA) attends the inauguration of the Puskás Arena, a Euro 2020 stadium

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin was guest of honour at the opening of the 68,000 capacity Puskás Arena, for the Hungary - Uruguay friendly (1-2) in Budapest (HUN), which will host four Euro 2020 matches (three group matches and one Round of 16) on 15/11/2019.

The new venue is "named after Ferenc Puskás, the star of the 'Mighty Magyars' team of the 1950s," said UEFA. "that such a magnificent stadium is named after Ferenc Puskás. He was a player before his time, a player who had such outstanding vision and leadership qualities. His feats in helping Hungary to beat England in 1953 (3-6, at Wembley, 25/11/1953) and his four goals for Real Madrid in their 7-3 victory in the (1960) European Cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt have been and will continue to be etched in the memories of football fans for generations," said Aleksander Ceferin.
