2019-20 Premier League: an average of £3.61m from sleeve sponsorship for the 19 clubs under contract

With the exception of Tottenham Hotspur FC, all Premier League clubs have a sleeve sponsor in 2019-20, one more than in 2018-19, as of 28/11/2019. The English professional league has authorised its clubs to market a sleeve sponsorship space since the 2017-18 season, following a decision on 10/11/2016.

Each of the 19 clubs receives an average of £3.61m (€4.06m) annually from sleeve sponsorship. This average is up by 4% compared to 2018-19 (£3.48m/€3.9m). Excluding the extreme values (including Manchester United FC, the club with the highest value contract), the average falls by 22% to £2.8m (€3.2m) per season. The median value contract (as many values are above and below) is £1m (€1.1m) per season. In total, sleeve sponsorship during the 2019-20 Premier League season amounts to £68.6m (€77.13m), compared to £62.55m in 2018-19.
