Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (December 2019)

The 18 clubs competing in the 2019-20 Bundesliga season have nearly 124 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2019. The Bundesliga is the fourth most popular Top 5 league on these three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, the Premier League and the Serie A TIM, with an average of over 6.9 million fans per club.

FC Bayern Munich is the most-popular German club with nearly 74 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with 27.3 million. FC Schalke 04 completes the Bundesliga podium with 4.4 million fans.

Bayern is the fastest-growing German club across all three social networks in terms of number of fans. In relative terms, VfL Wolfsburg on Facebook, RB Leipzig on Twitter and 1. FC Union Berlin on Instagram posted the best percentage growth in November 2019.
