France: 1.3% audience share for free-TV L'Équipe channel in November 2019, +0.3 year-on-year

The French sports free-TV channel L'Équipe channel recorded a 1.3% audience share in November 2019, up 0.3% from November 2018, the best increase for a terrestrial channel in one year, announced the channel on 02/12/2019.

The L'Équipe channel also recorded a record average audience share of 1.3% in the 2018-19 season (from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019).

The main TV audiences of the channel in November 2019:
• Biathlon: an average of 660,000 viewers for the first stage events of the 2019-20 World Cup, on Saturday, 30/11/2019 and Sunday 01/12/2019.

• Football:
- 511,000 viewers on average for Turkey - Iceland (0-0), Euro 2020 qualifying match (at the end of which the France team was officially qualified for the competition), on Thursday 14/11/2019.
- an average of 303,000 viewers during the Euro 2020 draw, also broadcast on the free-TV channels W9 (303,000 viewers) and TMC (227,000 viewers) on Saturday 30/11/2019.

  • The programmes L'Équipe d'Estelle and L'Équipe du Soir were watched by an average of 230,000 and 235,000 viewers in November 2019, respectively.
