ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM) presented plans for its future training centre, which will be located in Bagno a Ripoli (Tuscany, ITA), 7 kilometers southwest of Florence, and whose total cost should be around €70m, on 28/11/2019.

The future centre will extend over 25 hectares and will include a total of ten full-size football fields, two of which will be equipped with grandstands to host matches of the U-19 team and the women's team. Work is scheduled to start in September 2020, for a delivery scheduled at the end of 2021.

"This project is very important for Fiorentina and represents a strong investment, here everything is expensive, the purchase of the land cost us €10m and it will take another €50m to €60m to build the centre, which will make total of €70m. I do not think there are other clubs in the world that have invested so much in 4 months. I am very happy to invest in Fiorentina, like this, and in the long term," stated Rocco Commisso (ITA-USA), owner of the Florentine club since June 2019.
