United States: the 51 Euro 2020 matches to be broadcast on linear TV (46 on ESPN, 5 on ABC)

The 51 Euro 2020 matches will be broadcast on linear TV in the United States, 46 on the ESPN's pay-TV sports channels (39 on ESPN, 7 on ESPN 2), and 5 on the generalist channel ABC (2 group stage matches, 2 Round of 16 matches and 1 quarterfinal), announced the channels which all belong to the American media and entertainment group The Walt Disney Company, on 03/12/2019.

This is the first time since 2008 that Euro matches will be broadcast on a general-interest channel in the United States. The matches will also be broadcast on ESPN and ABC's applications. ESPN has broadcast the three previous editions of the Euro (2008, 2012 and 2016).

ESPN acquired the rights to broadcast Euro 2020 in English in the United States, as well as international matches organised by UEFA over the 2018-2022 cycle (Euro 2020 qualifiers, 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Nations League) on 15/08/2016.
