SL Benfica: partnership with United Soccer Coaches, the world's largest coaching community

Sport Lisboa e Benfica (Liga NOS) has signed a strategic partnership with United Soccer Coaches, an association of football coaches created in the United States in 1941 and considered "the largest community of coaches in the world," announced the Portuguese club on 03/12/2019.

As part of the partnership, two SL Benfica coaches will conduct workshops to present the Portuguese club's training model at the upcoming United Soccer Coaches Convention (USCC), which will take place from 15 to 19/01/2020 in Baltimore (Maryland, USA) and is expected to be attended by over 10,000 people. During the 2019-20 season, United Soccer Coaches members will also be invited to participate in a several-day immersive experience at SL Benfica's training centre in Lisbon (POR) to observe the club's working methods in situ.
