European Top 5: 78 of the 98 clubs have a sleeve sponsor in 2019-20 (+11.4% from 2018-19)

78 of the 98 clubs (79.5%) in the European Top 5 (Premier League, LaLiga Santander, Bundesliga, Serie A TIM and Ligue 1 Conforama) have a sleeve sponsor in 2019-20, 11.4% more than in 2018-19 (70 clubs) on 06/12/2019. In total, there are 79 contracts (Stade de Reims has two sleeve sponsors) from 74 different sponsors.

News Tank Football has information on 52 of these 79 agreements. In 2019-20, among these 52 agreements, the average value of a sleeve sponsorship contract is €3m. The Premier League is the Top 5 league where the average value of a sleeve sponsorship contract is the highest (£3.61m/€4.06m).

All 18 Bundesliga clubs have a sleeve sponsor, compared to 19 of the 20 Premier League clubs (95%). 90% of the Ligue 1 Conforama clubs have a sleeve sponsor (18/20 clubs), while 70% of LaLiga Santander clubs have one (14/20 clubs). 9 of the 20 Serie A TIM clubs have a sleeve sponsor in 2019-20, four more than in 2018-19, the first season in which clubs were authorized to market a shirt sleeve space.
