Premier League: Marathonbet, main training kit sponsor of Manchester City's men's and women's teams

Marathonbet, a UK-based sports betting operator, has extended its agreement with Manchester City FC and become the main training kit sponsor of the men's (Premier League) and women's (Barclays FA WSL) teams, announced the club on 06/12/2019. The value of the agreement is now estimated by the British media to be worth over £10m (€11.8m) per year.

Marathonbet, which has global partner status, the first level in the English club's sponsorship hierarchy, had previously extended its agreement with Manchester City and extended it to the women's team on 13/06/2018.

"Since the two organisations began working together in summer 2018, Manchester City and Marathonbet have collaborated on a number of exciting fan initiatives, with Marathonbet becoming a key component of the City matchday for fans at the Etihad Stadium and those following around the world. Most recently Marathonbet also marked its launch in Nigeria by partnering with City to bring the club's trophy tour, featuring all six trophies won by the men’s and women’s team last season, to fans in the country," said the club.
