100 children and their parents from Germany, Austria and Switzerland participated in the launch event of the "FC Bayern Digital Campus", organised by FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) at the Allianz Arena, alongside the club's game versus Bayer 04 Leverkusen (1-2, Matchday 12 of the 2019-20 Bundesliga season), on 30/11 and 01/12/2019.

The "FC Bayern Digital Campus", funded by partners of the club, Allianz, adidas, SAP and Hylo, aims to improve digital knowledge and promote appropriate behaviour in the digital world among children and young people. The German club has called on two schools specialised in digital integration to develop the various modules offered.

"The children went through various modules, from programming their own football video game to learning how to use social media responsibly. For parents, there were various talks from digital experts and educators on the subject of media literacy and growing up with media," said Bayern, who also announced that it would be a "long-term initiative" but did not specify how the Digital Campus would be accessible in the future.
