Women's car racing: ROKiT (telecommunications), fist major sponsor of W Series from 2020

ROKiT, an American telecommunications company, has become "the first major sponsor" of the women's single-seater car racing championship W Series, as part of a "multi-year" agreement from 2020, announced W Series on 08/12/2019.

As a major sponsor, ROKiT is displayed on all 20 single-seaters (Formula 3 models) as well as on the race suits of the 20 drivers. The American brand is already present in motorsport as the title sponsor of the Williams Racing (Formula 1, since 2019), Venturi Racing (Formula E, 2019-2022) and Motorbase Performance (British Touring Car Championship) teams. ROKiT has also been a sponsor of the Houston Rockets (NBA) since 16/10/2018.

The W Series, launched in October 2018 and part of the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) calendar, has six races for the 2020 season "with more races to be announced soon ." The 2020 championship starts in Saint Petersburg (RUS, on the Igora Drive circuit) on 29/05/2020.
