Fortuna Düsseldorf: club to take over commercial and marketing operations from Infront from 2020-21

Fortuna Düsseldorf (Bundesliga) will take over the management of its commercial and marketing operations from 2020-21, including sponsorship, advertising at home matches and hospitality, according to the German club on 05/12/2019. "Having successfully worked with Infront in the marketing field since 2009, the association is adapting its marketing concept to make it even more competitive and independent in the future."

Infront Germany became the exclusive marketing agency of Fortuna Düsseldorf for four seasons (2009-2013) following an agreement on 28/07/2009. The German club subsequently extended its partnership with Infront until 2016-17 on 13/06/2013, then until 2019-20 on 22/03/2017.

"After an intensive and structured process, offers from various agencies were evaluated with the result that the current marketing concept was redesigned. The expiring contract with Infront will not be extended. However, talks are planned with the long-standing partner about further, selective cooperation," explained Fortuna Düsseldorf.
