Eleven Sports: Luis Vicente (POR) replaces Marc Watson as CEO from 15/01/2020

Luis Vicente (POR) has been appointed CEO of Eleven Sports, according to the British audiovisual group on 12/12/2019. He will take up his duties on 15/01/2020.

"Luis takes over as CEO from Marc Watson, who will continue working to lead the Eleven Sports group forward in his role as Eleven's executive chairman and board director of parent company Aser Ventures. Luis also joins Aser Ventures as board Member and chief digital officer," said Eleven Sports.

Before joining Eleven Sports, Luis Vicente was chief digital transformation and innovation officer at FIFA where "he worked to champion new technologies, gaming, data and content strategies." Previously, he was CEO of the A1GP Team Portugal (car racing) from 2005 to 2009, director of partnerships at Manchester City FC (Premier League) from 2009 to 2013 and chief revenue and marketing officer at Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander) from 2013 to 2015. Luis Vicente began his career in talent management, representing footballers including Luis Figo (POR) and Ronaldo Nazario (BRA).
