England: David Baldwin appointed chief executive of the English Football League from June 2020

David Baldwin has been appointed chief executive of the English Football League and will take office from June 2020, the EFL announced on 17/12/2019.

Since May 2015, David Baldwin has been chief executive of Burnley FC (Premier League), a club in which he will continue to operate until the end of the 2019-20 season. He will then succeed Shaun Harvey, the chief executive of the EFL from July 2013 to June 2019. The position has acting head of the body currently being carried out by Debbie Jevans.
