2019-20 LaLiga Santander: 2.43 million TV viewers for Barça - Real Madrid on Movistar LaLiga

FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF, 0-0, a postponed game of Matchday 10 of LaLiga Santander, drew 2.43 million TV viewers on average on the pay-TV channel Movistar LaLiga (Telefonica group), on Wednesday 18/12/2019 (kick-off at 20:00 CET). This is the best TV audience since the start of the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander season.

This figure represented an audience share of 16.3%, and allowed Movistar LaLiga to rank first in the Spanish audiovisual market, ahead of the free channels Antena 3 and Telecinco (13.2% each), for prime time on 18/12/2019.

Initially scheduled for Saturday 26/10/2019 at Camp Nou in Barcelona, the match was postponed to Wednesday 18/12/2019 due to the risk of clashes linked to possibly protest demonstrations. The game was very nearly again almost canceled for the same reasons last night.
