Juventus FC: capital increase of €300m carried out up to 97.54% on 18/12/2019

A capital increase of Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) in the amount of €300m was carried out at 97.54% (€292.5m) during the option period from 02 to 18/12/2019, stated the Italian club on 18/12/2019.

Within the framework of its five-year development plan presented on 20/09/2019 (see below), Juventus FC had announced that it wanted to carry out a capital increase of €300m "before 30/09/2020", in order to "maintain its economic and financial stability".

The Exor holding company, the majority shareholder of the Turin club, exercised its option up to its share of the capital (63.8%), and thus paid €191.2m.

"The unexercised option rights (2.46%, or €7.4m) will be listed on the Italian stock exchange from 23/12/2019," stated Juventus FC.
