Formula 1: over 4.16 million spectators attended the 21 Grands Prix in 2019 (+1.75%)

"More than four million spectators (4,164,948) attended at least one of the 21 Grands Prix on the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship calendar," announced announced Formula One Group on 19/12/2019. This figure is up 1.75% compared to in 2018 (4,093,305 spectators).

The average attendance for a Grand Prix weekend rose to 202,146 spectators (+1.85%), with an average of 84,338 spectators on race Sundays (+4%), for a total of 1.77 million people over the 2019 season.

"Three Grands Prix had an attendance of more than 300,000 spectators over the race weekend - Great Britain (351,000), Mexico (345,694) and Australia (324,100) - while a total of eight, more than a third of all events, attracted crowds of over 200,000, including Singapore and USA (268,000 each), Belgium (251,864), Hungary (230,000) and Austria (203,000). It is also worth noting the 90^th edition of Italian Grand Prix registered its highest ever weekend attendance with 200,000 spectators," said Formula One Group.
