SV Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) will be launching the eAcademy, a dedicated eSports training centre, in January 2020 (see below), "to identify and support young talent in the region," said the club on 20/12/2019.

"An important role in the selection and promotion of young FIFA talent is played by the two green and white (colours of the club) FIFA professionals Michael 'MegaBit' Bittner and Erhan 'Dr. Erhano' Kayman. Both are expected to pass on their experience to the young talents. Erhan Kayman will also serve as coach and mentor of the eAcademy," explained the club, which is being supported by EWE (energy) and wohninvest (real estate) to set up the training centre.

SV Werder Bremen launched its eSports team on FIFA (EA Sports) on 24/07/2018 with the support of the agency Stark eSports.
