Champions League (1955-2019): Real Madrid have earned the most points ahead of Bayern Munich

With 262 wins, 76 draws and 99 losses in 437 matches, or 600 points (with victory worth two points and a game going into extra time considered a draw), Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) are by far the club with the most points in the European Champion Clubs' Cup/Champions League since the competition's inception in 1955, according to its organising body UEFA, on 23/12/2019.

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) are second in this ranking (document available to download), having played 90 matches fewer than Real (347 matches, 201 wins, 72 draws and 74 losses, for 474 points), and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) are third (316 matches, 187 wins, 72 draws and 57 losses, for 446 points).

In terms of the percentage of wins, Real Madrid CF are also in first place (59.95%), ahead of FC Barcelona (59.17%) and FC Bayern Munich (57.92%). The Madrid club dominates the trophy count in this competition considerably, with 13 victories in the final, compared with seven for AC Milan (Serie A TIM) and six for Liverpool FC (Premier League).
