Premier League: an average ticket price of £32 (€37.50) per match in 2019-20

During the 2019-20 Premier League season "most fans (53%) continue to pay £30 (€35.10 on 26/12/2019) or less per match. The average price paid for a Premier League ticket is £32 (€37.50)," announced the Premier League, as part of a study conducted in collaboration with the audit and consultancy firm EY (Ernst & Young), based on data supplied directly by the 20 clubs competing in the English league, published on 18/12/2019.

The study also found that almost half of the 2019-20 annual season tickets were sold at a discounted price, resulting in a total saving of £16.3m (€19.1m) for season ticket holders compared to purchasing a single full-fare ticket for each match of the season.

"All our clubs are committed to ensuring as many people as possible can attend Premier League matches. The Premier League is renowned for its great atmosphere and our stadiums have been more than 95% full for the last seven seasons.
