FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) became the first sports club in the world to surpass 60 million fans on Facebook, on 03/04/2014. The Catalan club had been the first to reach the 50 million mark on 02/01/2014.

With 60,022,856 fans, FC Barcelona are ahead of Real Madrid (55,846,322), Manchester United (44,944,800), Chelsea (26,503,440) and Arsenal (22,711,040) who all make up the top 5 European clubs with the most Facebook fans.
