This figure is up 5% for the second consecutive year and equal to those of the 2016 regular season:

• 2017: 14.9 million (+5% between 2018 and 2017)
• 2016: 16.5 million (-9.7% between 2017 and 2016)
• 2015: 17.9 million (-8% between 2016 and 2015)

The average audiences for the Sunday games are as follows:
• Sunday evening games on NBC: 20.5 million (+6.2% vs 2018)
• Sunday afternoon games on Fox: 19.2 million (+6.7% vs 2018)
• Sunday afternoon games on CBS: 17.2 million (+4.2% vs 2018)
