VfB Stuttgart: a hackaton (innovation competition) at the Mercedes-Benz Arena from 04 to 06/03/2020

VfB Stuttgart (2.Bundesliga) is organising the "VfB Mobility Hackathon", an innovation competition to be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena (60,449 capacity) from Wednesday 04 to Friday 06/03/2020.

"VfB Stuttgart has decided to work with its partners to make it easier for fans to get to the arena. As a 'lighthouse project', the project is intended not only to promote Stuttgart, but also to find solutions for sports arenas and large cities in general. The aim of the VfB Hackathon is to create new solutions or improve existing services," said VfB Stuttgart, which previously held a "Sports Hackathon" on 27 and 28/02/2019.

"A total of 10 teams, each consisting of 3 Hackathon participants, a mobility expert and a VfB expert, will address the challenges mentioned above. Everyone can take part - there are no restrictions. The only requirement for an application is the motivation to tackle the topic and to develop and shape innovative ideas in the workshop space with a view of the pitch," added the German club.
