2020: Euro, Olympic Games, 2022 World Cup qualifiers ... the main dates for national team football

Euro 2020 and the tournaments at the men's and women's Olympics in Tokyo are the main events of 2020 in terms of national team football.

The Euro football tournament, which will mark the 60^th anniversary of the competition, is being held for the first time in 12 cities in 12 UEFA countries, with the semi-finals and final in London (ENG). Turkey - Italy (Group A) will be the opening match at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome (ITA) on Friday 12/06/2020.

In regards to the men's Olympic tournament (reserved for U23s), "Brazil’s men brought an end to their long-running Olympic curse by winning gold on home soil in 2016.
