LaLiga Santander: Emili Rousaud appointed as institutional vice-president of FC Barcelona

Spanish businessman Emili Rousaud has been appointed as institutional vice-president of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander), according to the Catalan club on 02/01/2020.

Emili Rousaud (53) has been founder and CEO of Spanish energy supplier Factor Energía since 1999. "He has been a member of the club's executive board since July 2015, and during all these years he has been in charge of the social division, as head of the Office of Specialised Care, the department that oversees the club's accessibility, inclusion and mobility policies," said FC Barcelona.

The position of institutional vice-president of Barça had been vacant since the resignation of Carles Vilarrubi in October 2017. The club has three other vice-presidents in its organisational structure: Jordi Cardoner (first vice-president), Jordi Moix (in charge of Espai Barça) and Enrique Tombas (treasurer). The term of office of FC Barcelona's current executive board, of which Josep Maria Bartomeu is president, will end in summer 2021.
