Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) have posted a turnover (excluding capital gains on player transfers) of €135m for the financial year 2019 (from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019), down 17.4% on the previous year (€163.1m), according to the Spanish club during its general assembly on 30/12/2019.

"This drop in revenue is explained by the fact that the club played in the Champions League in 2017-18, whereas in 2018-19 it only played in the Europa League. The revenue generated by the Champions League is, with equal results, four times higher than that of the Europa League," said José Maria Cruz, CEO of the Andalusian club. Sevilla FC posted a net profit of €2.5m in 2018-19 (compared to €25.7m in 2017-18).

The total revenue generated in 2018-19 by Sevilla FC, the details of which have not been disclosed by the club as of 06/01/2020, amounts to €197.8m (compared to €227.5m in 2017-18) including €54m in capital gains on player transfers. The Seville club has also adopted a provisional budget of €149m for the 2019-20 season (+10.3%), with revenues expected to reach a total of €215m.
