With 137.87 million hours of videos viewed (+66% compared to 2018), Worlds 2019, the 2019 League of Legends (LoL, video game) World Championship, was the most watched eSports event in 2019 according to data (excluding Chinese platforms) from the specialised site Esports Charts.

The competition from the publisher Riot Games is ahead of the "Dota 2 International Championship" and the "IEM Katowice Major", which posted 88 million and 53 million video views respectively.

The Worlds 2019 also posted the best peak audience of 2019 with 3.9 million viewers ahead of the semi-final between G2 Esports and SKT T1 (3-1, 03/11/2019). The Fortnite (video game) World Cup Final posted the second best peak audience of 2019 with 2.3 million viewers watching the competition's conclusion on 28/07/2019.
