Serie A TIM: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (January 2020)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2019-20 Serie A TIM season total nearly 185 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/01/2019. The Serie A TIM is the third most popular Top 5 European league on these three social networks combined, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of 9.2 million fans per club.

With more than 83 million fans across all three social networks, Juventus FC is the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (38.7 million) and FC Internazionale Milano (25.6 million). Inter Milan was the club that experienced the best percentage growth on Facebook (+3.7%) and Twitter (+5.2%), while Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio posted the best growth on Instagram (+12.9%), during the month of December 2019.

Juventus FC posted the third best growth in absolute value (+1.03 million followers) among the clubs of the European Top 5 on Instagram in December 2019, behind FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, +1.29 million followers) and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, +1.22 million).
