Bundesliga: Audi (car manufacturer, GER) extends with Bayern Munich for four seasons (2025-2029)

The German car manufacturer Audi has extended its partnership with FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) for four additional seasons until the end of the 2028-29 season, announced the Bavarian club on 14/01/2020. The previous agreement (04/08/2015, worth approximately €35m per season) ended in 2024-25.

As part of this renewal, Audi will pay the club €50m annually, or a total of €500m over the remaining 10 seasons of the partnership, according to the German media on 14/01/2020.

The brand belonging to the Volkswagen Group has been a sponsor of Bayern Munich since 2002. The car manufacturer acquired an 8.33% stake in the club for €90m in 2011. As part of the agreement Audi will continue to benefit from the status of "main partner and shareholder", the top level in Bayern Munich's sponsorship hierarchy. Audi retains the naming rights for Bayern's pre-season tournament, visibility across all media supports and signage, the image rights of the club and its players as well as boxes and hospitality seats at the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity).
