NBA: LendingTree (online comparison site) extends as jersey sponsor of the Hornets (2020-2023)

LendingTree, an online loan and insurance comparison site based in Charlotte (North Carolina, USA) has extended as a jersey sponsor of the city's NBA franchise, the Charlotte Hornets, according to the National Basketball Association on 09/01/2020. The contract will extend until the end of the 2022-23 season for an amount of nearly $5m (€4.5m) per year, according to US media on 10/01/2020.

The LendingTree logo, which became a jersey sponsor of the Charlotte Hornets from the 2017-18 season (13/11/2017), will now also be present on the franchise's training jerseys.

"Along with placement on all uniforms, LendingTree has fixed signage on the Spectrum Center concourse and on the venue’s mobile entry scanners, as well as digital signage on the scorer’s table, basket stanchion, center-hung scoreboard and 360 LED boards. LendingTree also receives entitlement of the Hornets App, a social media content series and the Hornets Hoops youth basketball programme," said the NBA.
