eSports: Kia (car manufacturer), official partner of League of Legends European Championship 2020

Kia Motors, a South Korean car manufacturer, will continue as an official partner of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), which kicks off in Berlin (GER) on 24/01/2020, according to Riot Games, organiser of the competition, on 14/01/2020. Kia entered the world of eSports for the first edition of the LEC (in 2019) by becoming the "official automotive sponsor" of Riot Games on 14/01/2019.

"Throughout 2020 Kia will continue as presenting sponsor of the 'Player of the Game' segment, where after each game our team of analysts review the most influential players of the day. We're excited to announce that starting this year Kia will also present two of the LEC awards: the All-Star Team of the Split and MVP of the split (break between the winter and spring seasons)," said Riot Games.

Alienware, a manufacturer of computer hardware for video games, has also extended as an official partner of the competition as part of a "multi-year" agreement, announced Riot Games on 15/01/2020. "Starting this year Alienware will be the presenting partner of the Match of the Week, which…
