Everton FC: a turnover of £187.7m in 2018-19 (-0.8%) and record net loss of £111.8m

Everton FC (Premier League) posted a turnover of £187.7m (€209.3m on 30/06/2019) for the financial year 2019 (from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019), down 0.8% compared to in 2018 (£189.2m / €213.3m), announced the club at the end of its annual general assembly on 14/01/2020.

The decline in Everton's turnover was mainly due to the club not participating in a European Cup, although it had played in the Europa League in 2017-18. TV rights (£132.7m/€148m) accounted for 70% of the revenue generated by the club in 2018-19.

Everton FC posted a net loss of £111.8m (-€130.4m) in 2018-19, compared to a net loss of £13.1m (-€14.8m) in 2017-18. This is the largest deficit in the club's history, with the club also posting an operating loss (excluding transfers) of £29.7m (€33.1m), compared to a loss of £22.9m (€25.9m) in 2017-18.
