FC Nantes: Argentina-themed shirts in tribute to Emiliano Sala for match vs FC Girondins de Bordeaux

FC Nantes (Ligue 1 Conforama) players will wear shirts in the colours of Argentina (blue and white) as a tribute to their former Argentinian striker Emiliano Sala, who died on 21/01/2019, for the club's match versus FC Girondins de Bordeaux at the Stade de la Beaujoire (35,550 capacity) on 26/01/2020 (Matchday 21 of the Ligue 1 Conforama, kick-off at 17:00 CET), announced the club on 21/01/2020.

All profits from the sale of this special shirt, available on FC Nantes's online shop at a price of €80, will be donated to the two club's which trained Emiliano Sala in Argentina (Progreso and Proyecto Crecer).

"As a reminder and on the occasion of the Derby de l’Atlantique (Atlantic Derby) at La Beaujoire, several other tributes will also be addressed to him: a minute of applause, a giant banner and a tarpaulin in the centre circle during the warm-up, on which his portrait will be displayed," added FC Nantes, which has also installed a large portrait of Emiliano Sala in front of the main entrance at the Stade de La Beaujoire, so that "all fans can leave messages of sympathy there."
