LaLiga Santander: FC Barcelona collaborates with the China Academy of Art to mark Chinese New Year

FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) are collaborating with the China Academy of Art, an art school based in Hangzhou and Shanghai (CHN), through the production of a series of posters to mark Chinese New Year (which entered the year of the rat on 25/01/2020), announced the club on 22/01/2020.

"The posters feature FC Barcelona football stars Lionel Messi (ARG), Luís Suárez (URU), Marc-André TerStegen (GER), Antoine Griezmann (FRA) and Lieke Martens (NED), each with traditional Chinese symbols including dragons, qilins (Chinese mythical hooved creature), lion dances and cranes. The visuals also include elements of the Peking Opera, the most famous form of Chinese opera," said the Catalan club, which will distribute the posters across its various media platforms.
