The former Los Angeles Lakers player Kobe Bryant (1996-2016) and his daughter Gianna Bryant (13) have died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, west of Los Angeles (California, USA) on Sunday 26/01/2020. Kobe Bryant, 41, won five NBA titles (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010), one MVP title (2008) as well as two Olympic gold medals (2008 and 2012).

"The NBA family is devastated by the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna. For 20 seasons, Kobe showed us what is possible when remarkable talent blends with an absolute devotion to winning. He was one of the most extraordinary players in the history of our game with accomplishments that are legendary.
