Brazil: Puma to supply EC Vitoria until 2018

German sporting goods brand, Puma, has become the official kit supplier of Esporte Clube Vitoria (Brazilian Serie A) as of the 2014 season, announced the Salvador de Bahia based club on 04/04/2014. The agreement between the two parties will run until 2018.

Puma replaces Brazilian kit supplier Penalty, under contract with Vitoria during the 2013 season. The goods of the German brand will be distributed in Brazil by the company Filon Confecçoes Brazil.

"We are currently expanding our market share in Brazil and we are delighted to make a mark in the northeast of the country. Vitoria is a historic club," said Roberto Goldminc, president of Puma Brazil. The German brand supplies kits to four teams in Serie A: Botafogo, Atletico Mineiro, Goias and now EC Vitoria. Puma also supplies one team in Serie B, the Belem based club, Paysandu.

The Salvador based club will wear a Puma shirt for the first time on the 5th matchday, during the fixture against Palmeiras, on 18/05/2014. Players will wear their Penalty branded uniforms for the first four games. Vitoria will commence the Brazilian…
