Germany: RTL acquires TV rights to the Europa League and Europa Conference League (2021-2024)

The German free and pay-TV group Mediengruppe RTL has acquired the broadcasting rights in Germany for the Europa League and the Europa Conference League, for the 2021-2024 season, from UEFA on 27/01/2020.

According to the German group, the matches of the two competitions (282 in total) will be broadcast on the free TV channels RTL and Nitro as well as via the streaming service TV Now.

Mediengruppe RTL currently holds the free-to-air broadcasting rights to 15 Europa League matches per season over the 2018-2021 cycle while the OTT platform DAZN holds the pay-per-view rights to the competition (all matches).
