Serie A TIM: Inter Milan launch shirt flocked in Mandarin vs Cagliari to celebrate Chinese New Year

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) launched a commemorative shirt with the names of the players flocked in Mandarin to celebrate Chinese New Year (on 25/01/2020, Year of the Rat), on 21/01/2020. The shirt was worn by the Milanese players for their game versus Cagliari Calcio (1-1, Matchday 21 of the Serie A TIM, kick-off at 12:30 CET, 19:30 Beijing and Shanghai time), on 26/01/2020.

The home shirts, available via the club's online store, feature the names of the players in Mandarin with each number "bearing the traditional 'FU' 福 character, a typical message of good luck, done in different styles of Chinese calligraphy," said Inter Milan.

To celebrate Chinese New Year, the club also marketed a special t-shirt, launched a dedicated Instagram filter and organised a "Dragon Show" ahead of the match versus Cagliari for the spectators present at the San Siro.
