West Ham United FC (Premier League) posted a turnover (excluding captial gains on player transfers) of £190.7m (€215m on 31/05/2019) for the financial year 2019 (01/06/2018 to 31/05/2019), up 8.8% compared to 2018 (£175.3m or €199.9m), announced the club on 28/01/2020.

This growth in turnover was "driven by an increase in match receipts, broadcast revenue and stronger performances in retail and commercial," said the English club, which nevertheless posted a pre-tax loss of £28.3m (€31.8m) compared to a profit of £18.3m (€20.9m) for the financial year 2018. This decrease was mainly due to "investment in the squad and subsequent rise in wage costs and amortization."

"In the last four years the club has spent £214.4m net on new players and has invested £22m on infrastructure, including complete refurbishment of facilities at Rush Green, including a new gym and new training pitches; the Academy at Chadwell Heath was totally rebuilt; and almost £2m has been invested in the women's team," added the London club.
