3.2 goals per match (492 goals in total) and only 3.3% of matches ended goalless during the first half of the 2019-20 Bundesliga season: the DFL highlighted its records in the European Top 5 with the presentation of the 2020 edition of its Sport Report on 28/01/2020.

Among other indicators, the "Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH" recorded 25.1 fouls per match in the Bundesliga (only the Premier League has fewer than this in the Top 5) and 1,303 touches of the ball per match (also second only to the Premier League).

In terms of playing time for non-national players, the Bundesliga (46.6%) ranks third behind Ligue 1 Conforama (63.7%) and LaLiga Santander (60.1%), but ahead of the Premier League (40.4%) and the Serie A TIM (37.8%).
