Think Football 2020: J. Bergeaud, CEO Mediapro France, to explain French football channel strategy

Julien Bergeaud, CEO of Mediapro France, will be one of the major speakers at Think Football 2020, the fourth edition of the one-day event of discussion panels and networking organised by News Tank Football at the Eiffel Campus of our partner INSEEC U. Sport (Paris, FRA), on Wednesday 05/02/2020.

Mediapro acquired the broadcasting rights, in France, to 85% of the Ligue 1 matches (of which 80% are exclusive) and to the Ligue 2 multiplex (eight games per matchday exclusively) over the 2020-2024 cycle, on 29/05/2018.

"We have already started working on the distribution and production issues of our channel, we have already visited nine Ligue 1 stadiums, we will double the number of matches produced in 4K. We will use new cameras to magnify the product," said Julien Bergeaud, who presented his plan of action at the LFP general assembly in Paris on 12/12/2019.
