Coronavirus: Inter and its president Steven Zhang donate 300,000 masks to the city of Wuhan (CHN)

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) and its Chinese president Steven Zhang are donating 300,000 face masks to Wuhan (Chinese province of Hubei) to support its inhabitants and all the authorities involved in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic, announced the Italian club on 31/01/2020.

The coronavirus, which appeared in Wuhan in December 2019, has caused more than 7,000 cases of contamination and caused the death of 213 people in China, as of 31/01/2020.

"The Suning Group has been providing relief since the start of the emergency, delivering free shipping services and emergency supplies from overseas to hospitals and local institutions thanks to Suning International and Suning Logistics division. Inter visited China in 1978, the first top European football club to do so, thus building a 40-year-old friendship," indicated the Milanese club, which specifies that the masks will be delivered to the Chinese city during the week from 03 to 09/02/2020.
